Free beta: your data

Peppkin is an early beta operated by Dan Bassett for freelance testers.

What is stored

Your signed-in identity, practice profile, client and project records, documents, manually entered financial information, feedback and an activity log. Email account sign-in is provided by Supabase when enabled; existing accounts can still use ChatGPT. Passwords are handled by the sign-in provider and are not stored in the workspace database. The app does not connect to your bank.

Who can see it

Other testers cannot access your workspace through the app. The beta owner can read feedback you submit together with your account email, and see workspace opening dates, onboarding actions and counts of clients and projects to understand beta usage. This monitoring view does not show the contents of your client or project records. Authorised hosting administrators may access stored data for support and maintenance. Do not enter client passwords or sensitive personal information.

Storage and control

The app uses Sites hosting and its Cloudflare-backed database for workspace records, and Supabase for email authentication. Records remain until you erase your workspace data. Deleting an individual record moves it to Trash; it can be restored. Your account panel provides a JSON export and permanent workspace-data erasure. Hosting-provider backup retention is controlled by the provider.

Beta limitations

The beta supports up to 1,000 records and approximately 10 MB of text per workspace. Invoice payments are manually recorded. Availability and features may change; export important work regularly. There is no billing during this free beta.

Questions or problems

Use Send feedback inside your workspace to contact the beta owner. Include the page and steps that caused a problem, without including confidential client details.
